EZH2 (Enhancer Of Zeste 2 Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 Subunit) is a Protein Coding gene that encodes a member of the Polycomb-group (PcG) family. Regarded as PRC2's canonical methyltransferase, EZH2 plays a major role in catalyzing di- or tri-methylation of H3K27 in many cell types. Loss of Ezh2 results in embryonic lethality.
